Miami papers on rumored deal for Davis

There’s a strong possibility the Heat will trade Antoine Walker
Wednesday, his agent said, and sources said there are serious
discussions with Minnesota about a deal for former Heat swingman Ricky
Davis.

Agent Mark Bartelstein said that, although nothing was definite as of
Wednesday morning, he was put on notice that a deal could happen
shortly.

Other players have been mentioned in talks, including Timberwolves
center Mark Blount, who has three years and $21.9 million left on his
contract.

Although final terms of a potential deal are not set, among those who
could be in play for the Heat are center Michael Doleac and forwards
Antoine Walker and Wayne Simien, with each held out of Tuesday’s
exhibition loss to San Antonio.
