Wolves 98, Trail Blazers 109

The Blazers delivered their latest victory with a pair of 9-0 runs —
one that closed the first half, the other that opened the fourth
quarter — that made the Wolves’ own 13-5 run that began the second
half and Gerald Green’s highlight-reel, windmill dunk in the second
quarter inconsequential.

From Rick Alonzo/Pioneer Press:

Minnesota plays well in streaks but has trouble
finishing games. The Wolves trailed 78-69 at the end of the third
quarter Friday and were badly outplayed for most of the fourth. They
scored just five points through the first 6:50 minutes of the fourth
quarter.

Al Jefferson had 22 points for Minnesota, which has the league’s worst
record at 4-24. The Timberwolves fell to 1-14 on the road.

Wittman brought guards Marko Jaric and Rashad McCants off the bench for the second consecutive game; each player is recovering from the flu.
