Wolves Updates 9/2

From Patrick McManamon/Akron Becon Journal:
The Cavs were one of four teams that seriously investigated the possibility of acquiring Kevin Garnett from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Cavs were aggressive about it why wouldn’t they want to put Garnett and LeBron James on the same team?

Four teams were involved: the Cavs, Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics.

NBA finances threw up a roadblock…

Jessica Camerato/Hoopsworld lists Al Jefferson vs Garnett as the top matchup to watch for this season.
Jefferson said it was a compliment to be traded for Garnett, but he
never wanted to leave Boston. It’s no secret that Big Al is going to
develop into a big time player, and where would it be more rewarding to
prove that than in Boston? Expect Jefferson, who plays with his heart
on his sleeve, to leave his blood, sweat, and tears on the court when
he faces off against KG.

From Charley Walters/Pioneer Press:
Point guard Troy Hudson, who agreed to a $10 million buyout from the Timberwolves, continues to search for another playing job.
