Timberwolves coach Randy Wittman said the team plans to take
second-round draft pick Chris Richard with it to training camp in
Istanbul, Turkey, even though Richard hasn’t signed yet. Wittman said
he also expects veteran Juwan Howard, who has asked to be traded, to
accompany the squad. The Wolves will get their first look at Kevin
Garnett in a Celtics uniform when they play Boston in London on Oct. 10.
