Having the mentality of a leader is not inside everyone. Braving the
storm of criticism in order to achieve ultimate success is a feat not
many are able to face. Randy Foye has that all-important final piece
which makes him the ideal candidate to lead this team for the rest of
his career — confidence without arrogance.

"I feel as though I’m a natural born leader, and I feel like I can get
this team to follow me. I want to be that. Some of these guys I’m
playing with, they are already following me. Juwan came in here today
and said, ‘It’s your show, young fella.’ It’s good and, at the same
time, it makes me feel good that guys want to follow me. When somebody
wants to follow you, you want to lead them," he said.

Marc Stein/ESPN’s power rankings has the Wolves ranked last in the league.
Jefferson had a nice preseason, but let’s be real. If the first Wolves
team without KG since 1994-95 would have stayed in Turkey for another
month or two, would anyone back in Minneapolis have minded?

The Wolves may not win a ton of games but they have a roster stocked with young talent and a cap space plan in place.  Even with KG they were a lottery team . . . at least now there is a bright future without the pressure of having to win every season.
