After shootaround was complete, Jefferson walked off the court drenched in sweat with bags of ice taped to both of his knees. Dude looked like he had just played a game. As if that wasn’t enough, Jefferson went through the same routine some five hours later during Minnesota’s pre-game warm-up and then proceeded to score 15 points and grab 14 rebounds in 32 minutes of play once the actual game tipped off.
In case you have trouble reading between the lines, Jefferson is a tireless worker. And he’s also as talented as any young post player in the game today.
From the Chaska Herald:
Chaska resident Fred Hoiberg made a brief appearance on last night’s
episode of "Extreme Home Makeover." Hoiberg, who was a guard for the
Minnesota Timberwolves and now works in the team’s front office, was
giving designers some Wolves swag for a bedroom for two of the boys.

When you evaluate the situation you always have to ask yourself, "Where
are we trying to go for this season?" If you keep the current team as
it was you have to ask yourself, “Is the team in our best interests for
the future?” If you say no than you have to have a plan in place that
you believe can work for the season. I think by bringing in young
players and new payers, they’re saying this gives them the best chance
to have a better team four or five years from now. Kevin Garnett is in
a wonderful place where he is because now he has a chance to play for a
team that has a chance to play for the championship.
