From Steve Aschburner/MinnPost- "T’wolves’ Jaric the latest to test sports’ ‘love life theory’"
Actually,
Jaric suffered a sprained right ankle early in Friday’s game againstSan
Antonio and missed the Wolves’ clash at Memphis
Saturday, so maybe there is something to that. It wasn’t so long ago, after
all, that sports folks believed even worse about athletes and their love lives.

Jerry Zgoda/Star Tribune on tonight’s game against the Lakers:
Wolves guard Randy Foye (kneecap stress reaction) and Theo
Ratliff (knee) remain out indefinitely. Jaric is listed as doubtful.
Walker and Jefferson will be re-evaluated at this morning’s
shootaround. For the Lakers, forwards Kwame Brown (sprained ankle and
knee) and Ronnie Turiaf (mild concussion) are not with the team.

Coach Randy Wittman was added to the list of walking
wounded Monday. He missed practice to receive treatment for a chronic
back problem that flared up on the team’s return flight from Memphis
late Saturday.

Wittman’s assistants ran Monday’s two-hour practice,
and coach Jerry Sichting was charged with scheming for tonight’s game
against the Los Angeles Lakers at Target Center. It was unclear whether
Wittman will be on the sideline.

Jerry Zgoda/Star Tribune compares Garnett’s Wolves with the current Lakers roster.
The only player from the NCAA finalists having much impact is Ohio
State’s Daequan Cook, playing a surprising shooting role off the bench
for Miami and the only other rookie averaging in double figures at
10.1. Among Florida’s players, Al Horford is averaging a quiet 8.7 for
a poor Atlanta team, Corey Brewer is averaging 4.2 points and shooting
31 percent for an NBA-worst Minnesota team, Joakim Noah barely plays
and averages 2.9 points for the Bulls and Taurean Green rarely plays
for Portland.
The Wolves continue to sit at the bottom of ESPN’s power rankings.
