From Rick Alonzo/Pioneer Press:

Timberwolves point guard Randy Foye said he expects
to hear good news when he gets his left knee re-examined Monday. Foye
hopes an exam will show the stress reaction in his left kneecap has
healed and that he will be cleared to resume all basketball activities.

"I already know it’s going to be better," Foye said after Friday’s practice. "I dunked today and everything."

Randy Foye dunked the ball Thursday. Not a big deal, right? Wrong. It
was his first in more than two months and further proof to him that his
chances of playing soon are soaring.

Rashad McCants and Chris Richard participated in the FastBreak Foundation’s Read to Achieve Reading Time Out yesterday at NBA City.

They outscored the Hawks 27-8.
Here is the group that did it: Al Jefferson, Marko Jaric, Sebastian
Telfair, Craig Smith and Corey Brewer. Four players who haven’t reached
25 yet and Jaric, the old man at age 29.
