Randy Foye’s bone scan on his knee showed marked improvement on Monday,
meaning that the Wolves guard can ramp up practice activities including
sprinting, shooting, jumping and cutting.

"They showed us the results of the last test four weeks ago and the
test (Monday), and you can clearly see that it’s healed up," said Foye.
"They just said work your way back in slowly but surely, and gave me
the go ahead to start doing dummy stuff today with the team."

"(The doctors and training staff) want to look at him for a week here,
probably, (with) non-contact stuff," said head coach Randy Wittman.
"Running, shooting, jumping, sprinting, all that stuff to see if there
is any reaction or pain."

Wolves guard Randy Foye, out all season so far on a team that has won
four games and lost 29, on Monday was cleared to participate in
practice for the first time since October.

Team officials, as they have since a developing crack on Foye’s kneecap
was diagnosed during preseason play, continue to take a cautious
approach now that a medical imaging test taken Monday showed the
kneecap significantly healed…

Coach Wittman on the "best-case scenario" regarding Foye:
I can’t give you that, because I don’t know. We have to go from him
doing this stuff out here with no contact, to contact, to where he is
with cardiovascular (progress). We can’t rush him out there when he’s
not in good shape. He’s going to hurt himself if we do that. I wish I
had the powers and abilities to foresee the future and give you, "In 17
days, he’ll be fine." But I can’t.
