The list of the top rookies and sophomores set to play in the 2008 Rookie Challenge during All-Star weekend was released today and no Timberwolves players made the cut.

left off last season as a rookie. He has averages of 9.8 points and 4.7
rebounds (in just 20.8 minutes) this season. Looks like Smith might
have a beef. This year’s sophomore team includes Toronto F Andrea
Bargnani, who is averaging fewer points (8.9) and rebounds (3.6) than
Smith in more minutes (22.5). No doubt Smith’s bid was hurt by the
Wolves’ poor record.
