Jerry Zgoda/Star Tribune on the Brook Lopez workout:
He worked out by himself, although Kevin McHale said he hopes to get
Lopez back to town before the June 26 draft to play against other draft
prospects. During his drills, he appeared to get the best of
46-year-old Jim Petersen, the former Houston Rockets’ “Ivory Tower” and
current team television analyst who banged bodies with the young fella.
Lopez will work out again Wednesday morning before leaving town and
heading toward a workout at Seattle this weekend.

Looks like he’ll be the only first-round prospect in town for the next
two weeks. The Wolves are expected to work out local prospects
(including Winona State’s Jonte Flowers) whom they might want to
consider for their summer team on Friday and then their whole crew goes
to Houston next week to combine with the Rockets on workouts with
players…
