Wyn/Canis Hoopus with a thorough look at all the moves made by the team’s front office in the one year since Kevin Garnett was traded.

Kevin McHale, the vice president of basketball for the Wolves, said the team has a $5.8 million mid-level exception they could use for signing one or more free agents. But McHale said he doesn’t have any plans to spend that money, because he doesn’t see anybody available that could help the team more than the players they have on the present roster.

Rob Moor, CEO of the Wolves, said the city is spending $1 million to install what he believes will be one of the best acoustic systems in any arena in the country at Target Center. "It will be a big improvement for our concerts and the Timberwolves," Moor said.

Quite simply, these numbers from outstanding Summer League rookies
generally served as a preview for what to expect in the regular season.
Durant shot a lot to score a lot, and didn’t do much else in Vegas.
Ditto the regular season. Corey Brewer struggled with his shooting in
Vegas – ditto the 82 games. Al Horford cleaned the glass in Salt Lake
City – ditto in Atlanta. The major differentiating factor between
Summer League and the regular season wasn’t productivity, but minutes,
as Belinelli will tell you in Italian should you meet.

This would lead us to feel pretty good so far about Kevin Love’s
outstanding performance at Vegas, but we’ll hold that thought until
tomorrow.
