On Tuesday, the Wolves open training camp in Mankato with a remade roster that includes Al Jefferson and Corey Brewer, recovered from year-ending injuries a season ago. Before his players report for today’s annual media-day introductions, Kahn sat down with staff writer Jerry Zgoda to discuss his opening months on the job.
Q You’ve already demonstrated an impressive vocabulary in your short time here. What word or phrase best describes these last four months, and you can’t use “meritocracy” or “palace intrigue”?
A It has been intense, very intense. And it has been energizing. I hope for everybody, not just for me. Our players are energized by the changes that have occurred already, and more change is still to come. There’s no question we’ve set out on a very clear path and a new course.
