Luke Ridnour has agreed in principle to a 4-year, $16 million deal with Wolves, sources say. Wolves may move Ramon Sessions to Charlotte.
I’m pretty “blah” towards this overall. I like that Sessions is probably on the move. If so, then it’s an ‘ok’ transaction, I suppose. If we keep Sessions AND Ridnour, then that would be fail. I like Sessions, but he never got the opportunity here. Plus he can’t shoot a 3 to save his life, and Ridnour is a above-average three point shooter.
The thing that concerns me is that Ridnour had a very good “outlier” season last year. It was much better than his career norm. Are we overpaying for that? Or will he continue the trend?
I guess I’m just hoping beyond hope that Rubio is here in 2011-12, then this all won’t matter much in the grand scheme of things.
