The Nuggets have had interest in Miller now for years and attempted to pry him loose from Memphis prior to last February’s trade deadline. The Grizzlies never really wanted to move him, but when that’s what it took to get O.J. Mayo on Draft Night, Memphis pulled the trigger. Now Miller finds himself on a Minnesota squad that is at least a couple of years away from being a contender. As such, the Nuggets could offer a first round pick and salary cap relief for next summer. It’s probably a long-shot, but you can bet it’s one Denver will explore.
