Chief marketing guy Ted Johnson, in a bit of hyperbole, called it
“obviously a big day in the history of the Minnesota Timberwolves” and
said the new look is intended to “reinvigorate” the team’s brand and
“who and what we are.”

rookie photo shoot, I found the blue a little tepid compared to most
other uniforms. But nice enough.

In addition to making some changes to its official website , the team has also launched a new online store at which the jerseys can be purchased.

I think the real crime of this particular uniform is all the side panel action. Most of the league has backed off of busy trim in favor of sharp simplicity. These trees — and the Grinch’s ski slope on the shorts — constitute the opposite of sharp simplicity.
The fashion show occurred over the lunch hour at the IDS Crystal Court in downtown Minneapolis.
The unveiling included appearances by the Timberwolves mascot Crunch and members of the team’s front office.
