The Golden State Warriors need depth at the point guard, but after looking at former Los Angeles Clippers point man Shaun Livingston it appears they passed. As of this morning the two "finalists" to land the ex-lottery pick’s services are the Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Wolves have been on record in recent days saying Livingston was "perfect" for their system, but a handful of league sources think Portland’s got the better chance of landing him. On the one hand, bringing in Livingston would mean another guaranteed contract (with Blazers GM Kevin Pritchard is understandably hesitant to do), but on the other hand with so many guys going down to injuries even before the season starts Portland needs to add some talented depth, and Livingston (if 100% recuperated) is exactly that.

Update:
Livingston currently plays point guard for the Portland Trail Blazers.
