From ET Online:
Over at LAX, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” were joined by a slew of celebrity friends and family to ring in 2009 in true Las Vegas style. Party goers included Kim’s boyfriend and New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush, brother Robert Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner, stepfather and Olympian Bruce Jenner, socialite and model Brittny Gastineau, “Girls Gone Wild” creator Joe Francis, New Orleans Saints defensive end Bobby McCray, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Dante Stallworth and tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. as well as Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Rashad McCants. Dancing to the sounds of DJ Casanova, the Kardashians and their entourage posed for photos, played with party favors and danced to some of their favorite songs of 2008 all night long.
At times, the Timberwolves have looked absolutely listless on the court, but there is something to be said for a team that is 6-25 and still searching for positives. A large part of that can be attributed to the motivation and coaching style of McHale, who has clearly built a special relationship of sorts with his players.
“McHale is like a player’s coach,” swingman Rodney Carney said. “He trusts all his guys because he basically got all of us here, he’s very encouraging and a lot of people like to play for him.”
Timberwolves executive Fred Hoiberg, who scouted the Gophers-Michigan State men’s basketball game Wednesday, asked how he was doing, a day after his team lost after leading Dallas by 29 points: “How am I doing? Did you see our game last night?”
