After Tuesday’s shootaround, head coach Randy Wittman said getting
Ratliff back in town provides a mental boost to the team, much like
what occurred when Randy Foye resumed workouts last week.

His return date is questionable, but he said he has no doubts that he
will play again this season. Ratliff said he hopes to play in games
next month, perhaps around the all-star break. The Wolves sure can use
him. He’s one of the best defenders on a team that’s playing porous
defense in recent weeks.

"I’m feeling good," he said. "I’m not getting much swelling, not
getting much soreness. I’m able to constantly increase things out on
the floor with weight lifting and balance stuff. It’s just about
getting the stability and strength back, and working on getting the
stamina back. I’m very confident that I’ll be able to go out there and
do the things that I do best."
