"He’s going to get to play, I think, six games in a little less than
two weeks and then we’ll bring him back up here," Wittman said. "But he
needs to play. He’s not getting the opportunity and I didn’t foresee a

The opportunity in front of Richard is great and certainly he will
seize it. Richard has a good head on his shoulders and Babcock reminded
the rookie this should not be considered a "demotion," but the chance
to play the game he loves and develop his game.

Brian Hamilton/Chicago Tribune on Antoine Walker:
"That’s why I always say you can’t judge a book by the front page,"
second-year guard Randy Foye said. "If you look at him, you look at his
history, his past, people might say, ‘Oh, Antoine Walker, he’s not a
leader. He’s not going to be able to lead these young guys.’

Along with Ryan Gomes, Timberwolves assistant and former Gordon Tech coach Bob Ociepka donated a defibrillator to Gordon Tech in memory of player George "Truck" Robinson, who died in 1983. Ociepka coached him in high school.
Rudy Gay should be interesting though, he’s mid-sized. He should have
something in the tank. But him over Gerald Green? Doubt it. I take
Gerald. Dunk contests aren’t about how high you get, it’s about how you
move and how you make that dunk look.
