Part of the transition for Foye remains how he will fit into the rotation. He appears to be the backup point guard for now.
Foye relieved starter Sebastian Telfair on Tuesday night. But on Wednesday night, they played together at times.

"It hurts, but you just keep going," said Smith, who is averaging 9.8
and 4.7 rebounds. "There’s nothing I can say. They basically picked the
same guys they picked last year. I thought I’d be one of those guys."
From David Thorpe/ESPN:
Corey Brewer has proved to be an excellent defensive player, rookie or not. His stellar defense against Boston’s stars was impressive. But as solid as he is on defense, he is equally lost on offense. I think it stems from a lack of confidence in his jumper, which unsettles the rest of his game. Until he learns to shoot with a consistently extended follow-through, I doubt he will develop a shot he can be confident in.
The Timberwolves, appropriately, have no plans for a tribute to former Wolves all-star Kevin Garnett when he returns to Target Center on Feb. 8 with the Boston Celtics. The game will be a 19,364-ticket sellout.
Mike Trudell/Timberwolves site has a highlights video from the games that made Al Jefferson Western Conference Player Of The Week.
From Scott Cullen/TSN.ca:
Part of the KG deal last summer, Green isn’t seeing enough floor time
in Minnesota and, understandably wants a change of scenery. It’s
troubling, though, that he’s not good enough to fit in the rotation of
the Timberwolves because that means there may not be too many other
teams that would have room for him in the rotation, but he may have to
wait until the off-season to try free agency as his route to a new
location.
