Snyder, whom the Timberwolves acquired from Houston
last week in a trade for Gerald Green, was effusive in his praise for
Sloan, with whom he clashed several times during his brief but
tumultuous tenure in Utah.
 
Sloan suspended him for taunting the Houston bench
during a game, and the NBA later banned Snyder for one game for
fighting Dallas’ Jerry Stackhouse near the Utah team bus after a game.
 
Sloan was gracious when asked about Snyder before the Wolves played the Jazz on Tuesday night at Target Center.
 
"He’s a very talented guy. Has tremendous athletic

The Wolves play the Jazz twice in the next eight days. They play the
second half of a back-to-back Wednesday in Toronto, then face LeBron
James and the reconfigured Cavaliers on Friday in Cleveland.
