Wolves point guard Sebastian Telfair will have an magnetic resonance
imaging exam on a sprained left ankle today. Coach Randy Wittman
said it’s a precautionary measure.

Telfair was walking today without the use of crutches. Wittman gave a
rough timetable of seven to 10 days that Telfair might miss but said
it’s too early to say for sure…

Q: On Sebastian Telfair having an MRI on his sprained ankle today:
Randy Wittman: It’s just a precaution. I think as bad as he turned it
you’re just making sure there’s nothing seriously wrong and that it’s
just a sprain. I knew it was going to be seven to ten days, probably,
(and) that we’re looking at. So this is all a precautionary measure to
make sure.
