"We both are a lot better,"Brewer said. "We have worked out countless hours this summer together and with our coaches."
Both players struggled as rookies last season. They used their friendship to help make it through those difficult times.
"We live down the hall from each other and it really brought us together last year," Brewer said.
Living in the same building gives Brewer and Richard a chance to car pool together to practice, dinner, or to a movie.
"With gas prices so high right now, we take turns driving," Brewer said.
