Mike Trudell/Timberwolves site caught up with Rashad McCants:
MT: Al Jefferson had similar things to say…
McCants: Definitely. Al and I spent a lot of time together (this
offseason) and have a common goal. Last year we had some chemistry
problems with our whole team being young, guys trying to find out where
they were going to go and things like that. But this year we have
already experienced that, and we had lots of bright spots last year
where we beat a lot of good teams and played a lot of good teams close.
We bring in new additions like Kevin Love and Mike Miller, and you have
to watch out for us.

MT: Tell us more about your impressions of Love and Miller after working out with them several times:
McCants: I tell you what, people are going to be very impressed with
Kevin Love. He’s good under the bright lights. He can rebound, pass,
play defense, and really shoot the ball out to the three-point line –
that will extend the defense. Then Mike Miller is lights out anywhere
and gives us a whole new aspect. When me, Randy (Foye) and Mike are out
on the floor with Al and Kevin, (opposing defenses) might be in trouble.
