From Rotoworld:
Al Jefferson injured his right knee late in the fourth quarter on Sunday against the Hornets, after scoring 25 points on 10-of-18 shooting with 14 rebounds and one assist.
Jefferson appeared to be in major pain, and spent several minutes down on the court before being helped by trainers into the locker room. This injury did not look good…
From Hoopsworld:
Jefferson came down awkwardly on his right leg when attempting to block Sean Marks’ shot underneath the basket. The 24-year-old hobbled around in extreme pain before going down and holding his right knee.
After being looked at for a couple minutes, Jefferson was helped off the court by a couple of his teammates, putting little or no pressure on his leg.
In the postgame press conference, Kevin McHale just said “we’ll find out tomorrow where he’s at.”
