Foye missed Wednesday’s game with a sprained right ankle but the shooting guard showed exceptional lateral movement at practice. Assistant coach Ed Pinckney ran Foye through several drills to test his ability to drive to the basket and shoot the outside jumper. Foye told reporters he is ready to suit up for the game against the Knicks on Friday night. With a small ankle brace and a kneepad on his left leg, Foye said he is starting to look like Dwyane Wade.
But Foye said after today’s practice that his sprained right ankle is good to go.
“It’s up to him, but I’ll let him know that I feel good,” Foye said. “If he decides not to suit me up, I’m OK with that, but I definitely do want to play.”
