The Timberwolves have a new “Blueprint” for the 2009-2010 season.

Wyn at Canis Hoopus put together a flow chart “to sort out exactly what moves led to the roster that our beloved Timberwolves now hold today; how did they get here?”

Jonah Ballow/Timberwolves site posts a scouting report for tonight’s game against Golden State.

Sebastian Telfair is expected to miss his second consecutive game because of a sore groin tonight against Golden State at Target Center.

Kevin McHale said he let Telfair practice at his own pace Monday and said Telfair might have overdid it because he reported for this morning’s shootaround with increased soreness. McHale said Telfair will rest until the injury improves.

Wolves president Chris Wright said the team made the moves based on feedback from season-ticket holders and addressed their concerns in three main areas: affordability, risk and convenience.

Asked how the team can decrease prices and still make money, he said the Wolves hope to make it up in volume.

“Regardless of where the economy goes, Minnesotans still are going to want to get out,” Wright said. “They want live entertainment. We want them to consider us as the live entertainment. We want to create a homecourt advantage for our team.”

This is the first time that Taylor personally announced a major change in ticket sales in the 15 seasons he has owned the NBA team. Very few other teams are taking the same action when it comes to ticket sales. The decision to change ticket prices or keep them the same once the Early Bird special ends will be made closer to the July 1 deadline.
